Just weeks before the 2011 Egyptian revolution that would eventually oust President Hosni Mubarak, Noredin Mustafa, an ordinary police officer in Cairo’s corrupt system, investigates the murder of a beautiful club singer at the Nile Hilton Hotel. He’s handed the case of a singer found murdered in a Nile Hilton hotel room and soon discovers the dead woman’s secret relationship with the hotel owner—a wealthy developer and member of parliament. While searching for the only witness, an undocumented Sudanese maid, he’s abruptly ordered to close the case. Overlooking the River Nile, our hotel is off Nile Corniche Road, one kilometer from central Cairo's Tahrir Square.
